About Us

Hi, we're Zak and Heidi

We're parents to four amazing kids and the family behind Faithfully Believing.

For the past five years, homeschooling has been one of the greatest blessings in our family's life. It has allowed us to slow down, grow together, strengthen our faith, and create meaningful learning moments inside our home. While homeschooling isn't always easy, we truly believe that parents and families are the greatest influence in a child's life. No one knows, loves, or understands your children quite like you do.

Over the years, we began taking the weekly Come Follow Me outline and simplifying it for our family's homeschool rhythm. We loved the curriculum, but like many families, we sometimes found ourselves overwhelmed trying to figure out how to organize everything into meaningful daily learning moments for our kids.

Together, we started breaking the weekly lessons down into simple daily scripture readings, discussion prompts, and hands-on activities that felt manageable and realistic to use throughout the week. Instead of feeling like one more thing to plan, it became an easy open-and-go part of our family routine.

What started as something created for our own home quickly became something our children genuinely looked forward to each week. The lessons helped create deeper conversations, stronger testimonies, and more intentional time learning together as a family.

Eventually we realized — maybe other families are looking for this too.

That's why Faithfully Believing was created.

Our Mission

Our goal is to help take the stress and planning out of faith-centered learning by creating simple, open-and-go lessons that families can use together. Whether you homeschool, supplement after school, use Come, Follow Me in your home, or simply want more intentional family learning time, these lessons are designed to make it easier.

These lessons are not meant to replace the Come, Follow Me curriculum. Instead, they are designed to support it by taking the weekly outline and stretching it into simple daily lessons and activities that families can realistically use throughout the week. Our hope is to help make gospel learning feel more approachable, organized, and enjoyable for busy families.

We know how overwhelming planning can feel. Sometimes families want meaningful gospel-centered learning but don't have the time or energy to create everything from scratch. We wanted to build something that helps lighten that burden while still creating beautiful and faith-filled moments together.
